Vanessa Fajotina, LCSW
Vanessa works with teens, young adults, and adults with a special interest in parenting, pregnancy, and postpartum periods of life.
Vanessa has over ten years of experience as a skilled therapist. Her warm and genuine approach creates an environment where clients feel safe to share their struggles. Vanessa values the relationship she builds with her clients and strives to help them to achieve their desired goals by drawing upon their strengths and resiliency. Vanessa’s specialties include anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and adjusting to life transitions. She is trained and certified in using Trauma-Focused CBT. Vanessa enjoys working with pregnant and postpartum moms to help normalize the emotions that come with the transition.
Vanessa received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Kean University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has extensive experience as a therapist working in different settings such as outpatient, partial care, and school-based therapy. Vanessa primarily uses CBT, Mindfulness, Strengths-Based Approach, and Solution-Focused Therapy in counseling.
