Nicole Yoder, LMFT
Nicole works with children, adults, and couples.
Nicole Yoder is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She specializes in counseling children ages 5 and older that need help with anxiety, ADHD, depression, parent-child relationship issues, emotional regulation and life changes. A child’s natural way of expressing themselves is through play and for this reason, she uses play therapy, art, and other creative interventions to help children express themselves and learn tools.
Nicole is also skilled at counseling families, adults, couples, and parents in the postpartum and pregnancy period of their life. She utilizes a calm, empathetic, strengths-based approach, giving everyone a safe space to feel heard and validated in treatment. When working with adults, Nicole works through a systemic and relational approach to help promote positive communication, regulation, and connection.
Nicole is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). She acquired her Master’s in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from Kutztown University and her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Temple University. Nicole’s professional experience includes college counseling, outpatient, and family-based services.
