One of Amanda’s favorite quotes about the counseling experience-
“Therapists aren’t here to fix, heal or change you. Therapists are here to create a supportive, safe, and nourishing relationship and space that allows you to recognize your own ability to fix, heal and change yourself. We may help you along the way, but you are the way. We might support your healing, but you create your healing”. -Anonymous
